Then this is the place for you. I love reading however, I also enjoy listening to my books. It is great when travelling, out walking, or working on my computer. I'm sure there are many other ways that you can think of that an Audio Book is of great value.

I download a lot of my Audio Books to my mobile phone or IPaq, that way I can listen to them anywhere, anytime.

Audio Books are now available in a couple of "flavours". There are the ones that can be downloaded directly from websites, in different formats, or there are ones that can be purchased on CD and delivered to your home. Of course, there are many variations of these, as well.

I LOVE the freedom that Audio Book downloads provide. They are, generally, less expensive and certainly much quicker to obtain. You can be listening to your favourite book within minutes of purchasing it. With CD Burning technology, the downloads are easily transferred to CD.

REGIONAL RESTRICTIONS

Living in Australia, I have found that there are many regional restrictions on titles that can be downloaded. This is part of the licencing agreement between the publishers and retailers. To be able to gain some of my favourite books / authors in an Audio Book format, I have to purchase them as CD packs and wait for them to be delivered. The time delay is a little frustrating, but it is always worth it.
